With Minn Kotas Ultrex bow traction motors, you no longer need to choose between robust, instant response and technology-intensive traction motors. The modified i-Pilot Link can be connected to Humminbird, so you can control Ultrex from the Link remote or Humminbird sonar device. In addition, it uses GPS to remember fishing points and control speed, steering, cruise control and Advanced AutoPilot. Links can also follow the depth contour with simple controls, return to productive waypoints, and so on. The customizable touch screen menu fits your personal fishing style. iTrack's recording, playback and backtracking functions allow you to create, store and track production paths along the contour line. Go will take you to the saved waypoint of your choice. The co-pilot can wirelessly control the speed and steering. The cruise control system can lock your speed in increments as low as 0.1 mph. The remote control and smartphone application work via Bluetooth technology. Ultrex uses the instant-response cable drive system you are used to on Fortrex, and has a power steering function that reduces fatigue and saves energy. Minn Kota has improved the Spot Lock technology to achieve tighter tolerances so that you are always in the water. Ultrexs foot pedals have controls for automatic driving and point locking. Its single hinge and single arm moving parts are less than the traditional mounting frame, which can meet the unparalleled reliability of game anglers. Its marine-grade anodized aluminum arm has smaller design tolerances and can provide professional-grade strength, which can reduce bending deformation by 75% and reduce weight. The anti-tension stabilization system eliminates the shaking of the motor, reduces the steering torque when driving at high speed in rough water, and provides a firm, vibration-free stowage. A spring filled with nitrogen halves the strength required to store or deploy the arm.
