The Simrad NAC-2 Autopilot is a NAC-2 Autopilot core pack computer designed to run small hydraulic drives and mechanical drives for vessels up to 10 Meter (33 Feet) in length. The NAC-2 Autopilot Computer is the brain behind your autopilot system. NAC-2 contains the control algorithms developed to helm a yacht across a broad range of weather conditions and sea-states, alongside the electronics needed to operate a hydraulic or mechanical drive unit, while also interfacing with other components including heading sensors and rudder feedback units. The NAC-2 was designed for boats up to 10 Meter (33 Feet) in length and is suitable for low-current hydraulic drives, mechanical drives, or solenoid valves with a current rating of 8 Ampere continuous.

The NAC-2 Autopilot Computer is the brains behind your autopilot system. NAC-2 contains the control algorithms developed to helm a yacht across a broad range of weather conditions and sea-states, alongside the electronics needed to operate a hydraulic or mechanical drive unit, while also interfacing with other components including heading sensors and rudder feedback units. The NAC-2 was designed for boats up to 10M (33') in length and is suitable for low-current hydraulic drives, mechanical drives, or solenoid valves with a current rating of 8 Amps continuous (12 Amps peak).

Autopilot core kit-just add pumps and controllers! The Simrad NAC-Autopilot core package contains the components required to activate the autopilot system. Designed for inboard and outboard boats under 35 feet, hydraulic cylinder less than 15 ci, mechanical steering or solenoid valve steering (continuous 8 amperes, peak 1 ampere). Just add a display (AP44 or AP48) or compatible Simrad chartplotter and driver/pump (if needed) and your boat can take you to the fishing grounds. The NAC autopilot computer is the brain behind the autopilot system. It contains control algorithms developed for maneuvering ships in various weather and ocean conditions. The Precision-9 compass is an NMEA 000 heading sensor. The output heading is 0Hz (0 times per second), the rotation speed is 0Hz, and the roll and pitch angles are 10Hz. All this means you can input the most accurate heading data into the autopilot computer for faster and smarter control. RF-5 rudder feedback provides the engine or rudder angle for the autopilot computer. NAC provides the intelligent steering function for reference only. This data can also be seen on the display, which helps the captain know the direction of the ship's rotation when it is not moving. These combined components match the display and driver (if needed), and by eliminating human error, you can spend a relaxing day on the water or get a better fishing experience.
