Maretron Solid-State Rate/Gyro Compass w/o Cables Product Description

Solid-State Rate/Gyro Compass without Cables

Maretron's SSC300, implementing the second generation of Maretron's award-wining compass technology, is a solid state, rate gyro electronic compass that provides better than 0.7x heading accuracy through q45x of roll and pitch angle, and better than 1x roll and pitch accuracy in static conditions. Each SSC300 is factory calibrated for maximum accuracy. It delivers precise, reliable heading information ten times per second, plus vessel attitude including pitch and roll readings once per second. A micromachined 3-axis rate gyro is used, in conjunction with a 3-axis accelerometer, by advanced stabilization algorithms to provide accurate, stable readings during dynamically changing conditions such as hard turns or rough seas, making it an ideal heading sensor for autopilot or radar overlay applications.

Maretron's SSC300 is certified to the NMEA 2000 network standard and compatible with the NMEA 0183 digital interface standard. It connects directly with any NMEA 2000 network and with the optional NMEA 0183 cable accessory, with NMEA 0183 listeners to share information with navigational software, chart plotters, autopilots, and dedicated instrument displays - including Maretron's N2KView vessel monitoring system, or Maretron's DSM150 /DSM250 color graphics displays.

The SSC300 can be automatically calibrated for deviation. Its dynamic accuracy is improved with advanced digital filtering of the 3-axis magnetometer, 3-axis accelerometer and rate gyro.

Features:
  • Better than 0.7x heading accuracy in static conditions
  • Better than 1.5x heading accuracy in dynamic conditions
  • Better than 1x/second rate of turn in
  • Better than 1x pitch/roll accuracy
  • Three axis magnetometer, three axis rate gyro, and three axis accelerometer
  • Outputs NMEA 0183 and NMEA 2000 data simultanously
  • IP67 waterproof enclosure

Applications:
  • Navigation
  • Autopilot
  • Radar stabilization
  • Satellite antenna stabilization
  • Swing meter

Cable-free solid-state ratio gyro compass maretron's ssc300 uses maretron's award-winning second-generation compass technology. It is a solid-state ratio gyro electronic compass that provides better than zero heading accuracy. The roll angle and pitch angle are q45 times, the heading accuracy is 7 times, and the roll angle and pitch angle accuracy is better than 1 times under static conditions. Each ssc300 is factory calibrated to achieve maximum accuracy. It can provide accurate and reliable heading information ten times per second, and ship attitude information including pitch and roll readings per second. The micro-machined 3-axis rate gyroscope used in combination with the 3-axis accelerometer can provide accurate and stable readings under dynamically changing conditions (such as sharp turns or turbulence) through advanced stabilization algorithms, making it an autopilot or Ideal for heading sensor radar coverage applications for autonomous driving. Maretron's ssc300 has passed the nmea 2000 network standard certification and is compatible with the nmea 0183 digital interface standard. It can be directly connected to any nmea 2000 network and optional nmea 0183 cable accessories, and share navigation software, chartplotter, autopilot with nmea 0183 listeners (including maretron's n2kview vessel monitoring system or maretron Dsm150/dsm250) Sharing information with special instrument display color graphic display. ssc300 can automatically calibrate the deviation. Through advanced digital filtering of 3-axis magnetometer, 3-axis accelerometer and rate gyroscope, its dynamic accuracy can be improved. Features: better than 0. The heading accuracy under static conditions is 1. Better than 1. The heading accuracy under dynamic conditions is 5. The accelerometer can output nmea 0183 and nmea 2000 data at the same time. The application of ip67 waterproof shell: the stable rocker of the satellite antenna of the navigation autopilot radar stability.
