Wireless Vantage Pro2 Plus ISS with 24-Hr Fan-Aspirated Radiation ShieldWireless Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) is for use with Vantage Connect, Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Vue consoles, Weather Envoy and WeatherLink. Our innovative integrated sensor suite combines our rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, solar radiation sensor, UV sensor, sensor mounting shelf, and solar panel into one package - making setup easier than ever and improving performance and reliability.
For improved accuracy, temperature and humidty sensors are housed inside our solar-powered, 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield. The shield protects against solar radiation and other sources of radiated and reflected heat.
Compatible with Vantage Pro2, Vantage Vue and Vantage Connect
The Davis Instruments 6328 Vantage Pro2 Integrated Sensor Kit (ISS) has the same sensors as the similar Davis Vantage Pro2 console/ISS software package (Davis 6163). It can be used to replace the original ISS, or for applications that do not require a console and only require a PC or MAC or cloud connection. This Vantage Pro2 ISS can monitor wind, rain, temperature and humidity. It also includes ultraviolet (UV) index and dose, solar radiation and evapotranspiration. The UV and solar sensors are pre-installed on the sensor mounting frame. If temperature accuracy needs to be considered, it is recommended to use fan suction and install the machine in a place where the temperature is usually higher than 90°F and there is little or no air circulation. The patented solar 24-hour fan-extracted radiation shield combines active and passive air inhalation functions to minimize this effect.
