The 15.4-inch 1280 x 800 display is the practical reason to step up to the HELIX 15 over the smaller HELIX 9, 10, and 12 models. At 15.4 inches diagonal, the screen has enough real estate for genuinely usable five- or six-panel split-screen presentations. Run chart plus traditional sonar plus MEGA Side Imaging plus MEGA Down Imaging plus engine instruments, all on one display, with each panel still big enough to read at typical helm distance. What this isn't. It is not a touchscreen MFD (HELIX is keypad-only. for touchscreen, look at SOLIX). It is not the smaller HELIX 9, 10, or 12 (those are the smaller-screen variants in the same G4N generation). It is not the SOLIX 12 or 15 (the touchscreen flagship line at higher cost).
