Pivoting mounting bracket allows up to 30 degrees of pivot adjustment to fit any transom geometry, plus easy removal of the Talon from the bracket for off-season storage or for boats that share the Talon between vessels. Up-and-down adjustment within the bracket lets you fine-tune the spike's deployment position relative to the waterline.

Deployment notification alarm is the safety feature that prevents the most common Talon damage. If you forget to retract the Talon and start to take off, the alarm sounds and warns you to stow the anchor before damage occurs. Without the alarm, drivers occasionally damage the Talon by powering up while it's deployed. with the alarm, the warning prevents the damage.
