Sacrificial Anode: We use metals that are properly balanced & a composite shaft to ward off galvanic corrosion. So the only piece left for saltwater to attack is this little zinc anode, which absorbs corrosion so the rest of the motor doesn't have to.

With the touch of a button, Riptide Ulterra can be trimmed to adapt to changing fishing conditions without reaching the trolling motor. This variable speed traction motor has Minn Kota's Digital Maximizer function, which allows you to input precise speeds, consumes only the required power, and provides up to five times the working time on a single charge. The i-Pilot Link system locks the GPS to the fishing point through Spot-Lock, records and traces the path, command speed and steering, etc., allowing you to control the motor viewfinder remote control hummingbird fish from the color touch screen remote control or virtual machine (sold separately). It also has the AutoPilot function, which can automatically navigate your boat in any direction you choose, and Jog’s point locking function, which can fix you on the top of any productive fishing spot without touching the drag Fishing motor. Using the included heading sensor, you can use the scroll wheel to move the Spot-Lock position 5 feet in any direction. i-Pilot Link has a built-in battery fuel gauge that allows you to instantly read the battery life of the motor. The Minn Kota Riptide motor is designed with advanced corrosion protection and fully encapsulated electronics to ensure the ultimate salt water defense capability. The lower casing of the Riptide motor is sandblasted and then coated with aluminum to prevent oxidation and rust. Then, the last layer of powder coating provides the ultimate protection.
