Lumishore TIX403 EOS 2-Light Underwater Kit with Lumi-Link

This is Lumishore's TIX403-EOS underwater light kit in the two-light configuration with the complete Lumi-Link control system. The kit ships ready to install: two TIX403 flush-fit thru-hull color-change LEDs, the Lumi-Link Command Center, the STV 2204i 3.5-inch Lumi-Link color display, the EOS i-Connect Hub, and a 5-meter DMX cable. The TIX series lights have internal drivers (no separate driver box mounted inside the boat), and they can be serviced from inside the hull without hauling the vessel, which is the install-side selling point that separates them from external-driver lights.

Each TIX403 puts out 4,000 fixture lumens (9,000 raw lumens at the LED) through a wide 110-degree beam. The LED mix is engineered for full-spectrum color: 12 white LEDs, 12 blue, 12 green, and 16 red. The color mix matters because what looks like a beautiful blue glow at the marina can turn lifeless in murky water, while a richer mix with strong green and red components produces deeper saturated colors that show through algae and sediment. The 110-degree beam pattern spreads the light wide enough that two TIX403s cover a typical 30-50 ft transom comfortably, with overlap that eliminates dark spots between the two beams.

The Lumi-Link control system is the part that turns underwater lights from a single-color decoration into an actual entertainment system. The Lumi-Link Command Center is the network hub, sized to run multiple lights, multiple zones, and multiple control surfaces. The STV 2204i 3.5-inch full-color display is the dedicated control panel at the helm or in the cockpit, with intuitive color-wheel, preset, scene, and sound-to-music interfaces. The EOS i-Connect Hub is the wireless interface that lets the system pair with smartphones over Wi-Fi for control from anywhere on the boat (and from the dock, when you're back at the marina and want to fire up the lights from the boarding ladder). Sound-to-music mode synchronizes the lights to the boat's audio system, which is the feature that makes the lights actually a focal point of evenings on the water.

Color control covers every realistic use case. Twelve preset color scenes for one-tap mood setting (warm white, blue, green, scenic blue-fade, party color-sweep). Infinite color choice via a color wheel on the display or app for exact custom shades. Color Sweep mode that cycles through hues at a configurable speed. Color Scene for static custom colors. DMX control for installations integrating the lights into a broader entertainment system. Sound-to-Music mode for audio-synchronized light shows.

The TIX403 housings are flush-fit thru-hull fittings with a 0.33-inch profile above the hull, which is low enough to avoid hydrodynamic drag at speed and not interfere with the boat's hydrofoil characteristics. Through-hull cut-out is 2.25 inches for the shaft, with a maximum hull thickness of 5.35 inches (shaft length). External light diameter is 3.47 inches. These dimensions cover virtually any recreational hull (fiberglass, aluminum, composite, even most steel).

Mounting is flush-fit for transom (the most common location), side hull (for sailing yachts and motor yachts where transom lights aren't practical), and bottom mounting (for boats hauled often where the transom is hard to reach). The Lumishore install pattern is widely documented, and the lights ship with installation hardware, gasket, and through-hull fitting hardware.

The TIX architecture's defining advantage is internal-driver serviceability. External-driver lights require pulling the boat to access the external driver box if anything goes wrong. The TIX403's internal driver lives inside the light fixture itself, which means service and replacement can be done from inside the hull (typically through an access panel near the transom) without hauling. For owners who keep their boats in the water through the season, this is a significant operational cost saver versus competing external-driver systems.

Power supply is 12V or 24V DC, with the internal driver handling whichever the boat's house bank provides. Current draw per light is moderate, the kit is sized to run on a typical recreational house bank without dedicated underwater-light circuits.
