Lumishore TIX403 EOS 2-Light Underwater Set with Command Center

This package is the complete Lumishore EOS Series two-light setup for boats in the 28-to-45-foot range that want full-spectrum underwater lighting without piecing together components from separate part numbers. Two TIX403 EOS thru-hull fixtures, the Lumi-Link Command Center for system control, the EOS i-Connect Hub for MFD network integration, the 5-meter DMX cable to chain the fixtures, and all the installation hardware ship in one kit. For most center consoles and sport-fishing boats, two TIX403s on either side of the transom is the right starting count. Larger boats often add a third or a fourth fixture mid-hull.

The TIX403 itself sits at the middle of the EOS Series thru-hull lineup. Each light pushes 9,000 raw LED lumens through the fixture optics for a delivered 4,000 fixture lumens in the water at a 110-degree beam angle. The LED engine is built from 12 white, 12 blue, 12 green, and 16 red emitters, which is the array Lumishore designed around to hit accurate skin tones in white mode and clean primaries in the color modes without the cyan-and-magenta dead zones that lesser RGB fixtures show. Color modes include 12 factory color presets, infinite color choice through the controller wheel, color sweep (smooth fade through the spectrum), color scenes (preset multi-color sequences), DMX control for theatrical-grade programming, and sound-to-music mode that pulses the lights with the boat's audio system. White mode hits 4,000 fixture lumens at full output, which is what you want for divers swimming around the boat at anchor or for general transom illumination at the dock.

The TIX prefix in the model name calls out one of the most important features for owners: internal driver. The driver electronics live behind the lens and the fixture is serviceable from inside the hull. If the driver fails or you want to swap the fixture during a refit, you don't need to haul the boat. This is the practical difference between the TIX line and the THX line in the EOS family. THX fixtures have external drivers and are slightly less expensive but require a haul-out for any service. For owners who keep boats at a slip and want lights they can replace without scheduling yard time, TIX is the right answer. The flush-fit design with extremely low profile suits transom, side-hull, and bottom mounting. All EOS thru-hull lights use Lumishore's standard 1-inch fitting.

System control happens through three connected paths. The Lumi-Link Command Center in the kit is the dedicated controller that handles all the color modes, brightness, sound-to-music sync, and DMX scenes from a single panel. Alternately, the EOS i-Connect Hub bridges the lighting system to a compatible MFD on the marine network, so you can control the lights from the chartplotter at the helm instead of a separate dash-mounted controller. That keeps the helm clean if you don't want a dedicated lighting panel. The Lumi-Link app on iPhone gives wireless control over Wi-Fi for guests or for tweaking the lights from the cockpit without walking back to the helm. Two install considerations worth flagging. The first is power. Each TIX403 draws meaningful current at full white output, and the two lights together on a 12V system pull enough to want a properly sized circuit with adequate cable from the house bank. For 24V installs the current draw drops accordingly. The second is the thru-hull hole itself. A two-light install means cutting two precise holes in the transom (or bottom), which is a job for a marine fabricator or installer rather than a weekend project. The fixtures are flush-fit and self-aligning once the hole is cut to the template, but the hole has to be cut to spec. We can recommend an installer in your area.
