The FUSION XS-FL65SPGW XS Series 6.5-inch RGB Sports Marine Speakers are FUSION's mid-tier 6.5-inch marine coaxial speakers with the RGB-illuminated translucent cone - the visual feature that's transformed boat audio installations from invisible-when-not-playing utilitarian equipment into a meaningful part of the boat's nighttime aesthetic. Where the XS Series fits in the FUSION lineup. FUSION's marine speaker lineup has clear tiers: XS Lite series (entry-tier, basic marine speakers without RGB), XS Series (this product family, mid-tier with RGB and improved acoustic optimization), Signature Series 3 (high-tier with the largest magnets, premium drivers, and advanced waveguide tweeters), and Apollo signature subwoofers (specialized bass). The XS Series mid-tier delivers most of the features serious marine audio installations need at a more accessible price point than the Signature line - notable for the RGB illumination feature that the entry XS Lite doesn't have.

The RGB illuminated cone - what it actually does. The defining XS Series feature: the speaker's cone material is translucent, with an RGB LED ring built into the speaker basket that illuminates the cone from the back. When powered, the cone glows in whatever color you've selected - red, blue, green, white, or any combination via RGB color mixing. The illumination is bright enough to be visible in daylight (subtle accent) and dominant at night (real visual statement). Color/brightness/mode (solid, fade, strobe) selection requires the MS-RGBRC wireless remote control sold separately. Two grille options included. Both Sports Grey and Sports White grilles ship in the box. Choose the grille color that best matches your boat: Sports White for white-trimmed boats (most common), Sports Grey for grey-trimmed boats or boats where you want the speakers less visually prominent. True-Marine engineering. Acoustic performance. 200 watts peak power handling per speaker pair, 50 watts RMS sustained. 91 dB efficiency means the speakers sound loud with reasonable amp power - 50 watts RMS produces approximately 100 dB sound pressure at 1 meter, plenty for typical boat listening. The 80 Hz low end is appropriate for 6.5-inch coaxial speakers - smaller drivers can't produce deep bass cleanly, so the engineering choice is to focus the speaker on midrange and treble where 6.5-inch drivers excel. Aluminum dome tweeter. The tweeter (high-frequency driver) uses an aluminum dome design - this is a real upgrade over the silk or polymer dome tweeters on cheaper speakers. Aluminum is stiffer and lighter than alternatives, which means: higher upper-frequency extension (you hear more of the high-frequency detail in music), better transient response (snare hits, cymbals, percussion sound crisp not muddy), and less coloration of the sound (the music sounds more like it should rather than colored by the speaker). Polypropylene cone with cloth surround. The cone (main driver diaphragm) is polypropylene plastic - the marine standard for cone material. LED current draw at 14.4V: 150 mA per speaker (300 mA total for the pair). Very modest power consumption - the LEDs can run continuously without meaningful battery drain.
