Was concerned about installing on two batteries connected in serial without actually disconnecting the cables. Followed the instructions, and connected one lead to each with no removal of the cables. The computer obviously knows how to do its job. Charges the batteries without issue, and maintains them without over charging. Very pleased with how easy it was to get everything hooked up. If you need to charge two batteries that are connected and in place - get this charger
