What's the difference between a driving light and a fog light?
Fog lights have a wide, diffused beam meant to light up the road close to the vehicle without bouncing back at you in fog or dust. Driving lights throw a tighter, longer beam down the road. The 201503 is set up as a driving/fog combo with a flood pattern, so it leans toward the fog-light side.
Is it the same as a driving light?
Close, but not identical. The flood beam on this unit is wide and short, so it's more useful as a fog light. If you want a long-throw light for highway speeds, look at the spot version instead.
How do I adjust the aim?
The mounting bracket has slotted holes that let you tilt the housing up or down. Aim it so the cutoff is at hood level or slightly below. That keeps the brightest part of the beam on the ground in front of you, not bouncing into oncoming drivers.
