Weld Mount AT-5 Large Black Nylon Wire Tie Mount, 50 Pack — Product description

The Weld Mount AT-5 is a large black nylon wire tie mount that bonds right to your hull, no plywood backing and no drilling. Built for a #5 wire tie with about 150 lbs of pull strength, it's approved for submerged bilge use. This is the 50-pack, enough to rig a full console or cable run.

If you've ever hunted for a spot to screw down a wire tie in a fiberglass hull, you know the drill. You end up bonding in a scrap of plywood just to have something to bite into. The Weld Mount AT-5 skips all that. It's a large black nylon tie mount built for a #5 wire tie, and it bonds straight to the hull. No plywood, no drilling, no fasteners punched through your glass.

You can set these into wet resin during the layup, or stick them down later with Weld Mount acrylic adhesive. Once they're cured, they hold. Average pull strength runs about 150 lbs, so your harnesses and hose runs stay put through vibration and pounding seas. They're even approved for submerged bilge applications, which is right where a lot of cheaper mounts give up.

This is the 50-pack in black. Enough to rig a full console, a bilge, or a long cable run in one shot. It saves material and labor, and it keeps your wiring looking clean and professional.

Key Features

  • Built for a #5 wire tie: slot holds standard #5 cable ties for bundling wire runs, hoses, and cable looms
  • 150 lb average pull strength: keeps bundles anchored through vibration and pounding in engine and bilge areas
  • Black nylon construction: UV-stable and corrosion-proof, won't rust or break down like metal clips
  • Bonds without drilling: set into wet resin during layup or glue down with acrylic adhesive, no fasteners into the hull
  • Approved for submerged bilge use: rated to stay put even sitting in standing bilge water

Frequently asked questions

What size wire tie does the AT-5 use?

It's built for a standard #5 wire tie. Slip the tie through the slot, bundle your wires or hoses, and cinch it down.

How do I attach these to my hull?

Two ways. Set them into wet resin during a fresh layup, or bond them to a clean, prepped surface with Weld Mount acrylic adhesive. Either way there's no drilling and no screws into the hull.

How much will one hold?

Average pull strength is about 150 lbs per mount, so they handle heavy harnesses and hose runs without letting go.

Can I use these in the bilge?

Yes. The AT-5 is approved for submerged bilge applications, so it stays put even when it's sitting in standing water.

How many mounts come in this pack?

This is the 50-pack, in black nylon. Weld Mount also offers the AT-5 in white if you'd rather match a lighter surface.
