Taylor Made makes this square corner lounge seat for one job: filling the corner of a pontoon or deck boat with real seating that lasts. It measures 32 inches long, 22 inches deep, and 30 inches tall overall, and it comes finished in charcoal. It's non-adjustable and non-foldable, so think of it as a piece of furniture that lives in one spot rather than a seat you stow away. That fixed design is the point. There's no hinge to loosen and no recline mechanism to seize up after a couple of seasons in the salt.

The bones of it are rotationally-molded marine grade polyethylene. That matters more than it sounds. A rotomolded PE frame won't rot, won't rust, and won't soak up water the way an older plywood-cored seat base does the first time it gets a real soaking. Over the top of that frame you get marine grade vinyl stretched over mildew-resistant polyurethane foam, so the cushion sheds spray and doesn't turn into a sponge that grows things over a wet winter. The seams are sewn with UV-resistant polyester thread, which is the part that usually fails first on a cheap seat left out in the sun.

Taylor Made didn't cut corners on the hardware either. The seat hinges are aluminum and the staples and mounting fasteners are stainless steel, so the metal buried in the cushion and the base isn't going to bleed rust streaks down your upholstery a year in. Where does it go? The square corner shape is built to tuck into the aft or forward corner of a pontoon rail layout, or into the corner of a deck boat's cockpit. It gives two people a comfortable place to sit facing in, and the 22 inch depth is enough to actually lean back into instead of perching on an edge. It's a good fit for pontoons, deck boats, and larger center consoles with an open corner to fill. It's not a helm seat, and it doesn't recline, so if you're after a captain's chair or a folding seat you can flip down for towing coverage, this isn't that one.

A few honest install notes. This is a solid, fixed seat, so it wants to be through-bolted to a solid deck. On a lighter fiberglass floor, add a backing plate under the deck to spread the load, the same way you'd back any furniture that takes real weight. And whatever you do, give the base a way to drain. Mildew-resistant foam still holds moisture if water has nowhere to go, so a couple of drain paths under the seat will keep the cushion drying out between trips. One more thing to measure before you buy: at 32 inches long it eats up a fair bit of rail, so on a narrow walkaround check that it won't block the side deck you use to get forward.

Care is simple. Rinse the vinyl with fresh water and a mild soap, keep it out of standing water, and throw a cover over it in the off-season if the boat lives outside. Do that and the marine vinyl and UV thread will hold their color and their seams for a long time. It's charcoal, so it hides dirt and dock scuffs better than a light seat, and it pairs with just about any interior.
