If you've ever sat at the back corner of a pontoon and felt the seat give way to soft, tired plywood underneath, you already know why the Platinum Series matters. The seat is hinged with aluminum hardware, so the cushion lifts on the corner base. Aluminum hinges won't rust and streak the vinyl the way plain steel does. Everything's put together with stainless steel staples and mounting fasteners, which is exactly what you want on a part that lives outdoors and gets rinsed with salt or lake water all season. A couple of honest notes so you order the right thing. This is a non-adjustable, non-foldable seat. It sits at a fixed lounge angle, which is what you want in a corner piece, but it's not a reclining or flip-up seat. It also comes without a headrest. And the color is Champagne, a warm off-white that reads clean and neutral and pairs with most factory pontoon interiors. If your existing furniture is a bright white, hold a sample up first, because Champagne is intentionally a softer, creamier tone.
