Taylor Made builds the Platinum Series for pontoon and deck boats that spend real time on the water, and this radius corner lounge seat is a clean way to replace tired furniture or finish out a rebuild. It measures 32 inches long by 26 inches wide by 30 inches tall overall, with a rounded corner profile that tucks neatly into the front or rear corner of a pontoon layout. White vinyl, marine-grade everything, and no headrest. It's a straightforward, comfortable seat that looks like it belongs on the boat.

The frame is the part that matters most out here, and Taylor Made rotationally molds it from marine-grade polyethylene. That's the same kind of poly you see on high-end coolers and kayaks. It doesn't rot, it doesn't absorb water, and it shrugs off UV a lot better than a plywood-cored seat ever will. We've pulled plenty of old pontoon seats apart over the years and found soggy, delaminated wood underneath. This design skips that failure mode entirely. The molding lines add stiffness too, so the base stays solid when someone drops into it.

On top of the frame you get mildew-resistant polyurethane foam wrapped in marine-grade vinyl. The foam is the piece that keeps a seat comfortable season after season, and the mildew treatment is what keeps it from turning into a science project when the boat sits covered through a humid summer. Seams are sewn with polyester UV-resistant thread, the hinges are aluminum, and the staples and mounting fasteners are stainless. So the stuff that usually rusts and streaks white gelcoat on a cheaper seat just isn't here.

Comfort-wise, this is a lounge seat, not a hard bench. The seat and back are shaped to actually lean into, which makes a difference on a long day of slow cruising or fishing off the back. The radius corner also opens up the floor a little compared to a boxy square seat, so it's easier to step around when you're moving up and down the deck. Small thing, but it's the kind of detail Taylor Made tends to get right on the Platinum line.

Who's this for? Mostly pontoon owners rebuilding a bench layout or swapping a single corner lounger that's seen better days. The radius corner shape is made to sit against the rail in a corner, so it fits the typical wraparound bench arrangement without leaving an awkward gap. If you're running a deck boat or a small cruiser with a corner seating pocket, it works there too. It's a fixed seat, though. Non-adjustable and non-foldable, so it isn't the right pick if you need a seat that reclines or folds flat for casting room.

A few install notes from folks who've done it. The base is a 32 by 26 footprint, so measure your bench before you order. On some 25 to 28 foot pontoons that footprint can hang over the edge of a narrow bench by a couple inches, and you'll want to know that going in. Pre-drill your mounting holes. Rotomolded poly is tough, but driving a lag straight into it without a pilot hole can crack it around the bolt, so pilot the holes and run fender washers to spread the load. Most installers go with 3/8 inch stainless lag bolts into the aluminum crossmembers under the deck. If your deck is wood-cored, seal those penetrations well, because that's where water likes to get in.

It ships white, which is the easy color to match on most boats and the easy color to keep looking fresh with a quick wipe-down. Like any vinyl seat that lives in full sun, it'll last longer if you throw a cover on it when the boat's parked.
