Start with the frame. It's rotationally-molded marine grade polyethylene, the same kind of one-piece plastic used for high-end pontoon seat bases. There's no wood in it to rot and no steel skeleton to rust from the inside out. That matters on a boat that sits in the weather. Water gets at every part of a pontoon seat, and a poly frame just doesn't care. Over the top goes marine grade vinyl, the mildew-resistant polyurethane foam underneath keeps its shape instead of packing down flat, and the whole thing is stitched with UV-resistant polyester thread so the seams don't chalk out and let go after a couple of hot summers.

The fasteners are stainless steel, both the staples holding the upholstery and the hardware you mount it with. That's an easy spec to overlook until you see what plain steel staples do to marine vinyl after a year. Rust streaks, loose fabric, the works. Taylor Made spec'd stainless throughout, so this armrest ages the way the rest of your Platinum furniture does.

This is specifically the left-hand section, measuring 8.5 inches wide by 25 inches deep by 28 inches tall overall. The 28-inch height is built to match the seat-back height on the Platinum Series bench, so the arm sits at the right level next to the cushions instead of standing proud or sitting low. Left-hand means it mounts on the left side of the bench. If you need the right side too, that's a separate part number, so order both if you're building out or replacing a full bench. Getting the orientation right the first time saves you a return, so double-check which side you're missing before you order.

The molded-in cup holder is the part your passengers will actually notice. It sits right at the front of the arm where a hand naturally rests, so a drink stays put through wakes and turns instead of sliding around the deck. No more chasing a can across the floor every time you come off plane. On a hot day out there, that's the little detail that makes the boat feel finished, and it's the kind of thing you miss the moment it's gone.
