Sea-Dog Windshield and Door Bumper Pad, Black Kraton
Sea-Dog Windshield and Door Bumper Pad, Black Kraton — Product description
The Sea-Dog windshield and door bumper pad is a 3/4 inch black Kraton cushion that stops the metal-on-metal rattle where a windshield frame, cabin door, or hatch meets its stop. Sized for 1/8 inch cable and built from tough thermoplastic rubber that handles sun, salt, and spray without going brittle.
The Sea-Dog windshield and door bumper pad is one of those small parts that quietly saves your gear. It's a molded black Kraton bumper, 3/4 inch in diameter, made to cushion the spot where a windshield frame or a door meets its stop. No more metal-on-metal rattle underway, and no more scuffed edges when the chop picks up.
Kraton is a tough thermoplastic rubber that shrugs off sun, salt, and spray, so it won't go brittle and crack after a season on the water the way cheap vinyl can. This one's sized for a 1/8 inch cable, and it's sold as a single piece, so grab the count you need for your boat.
It's a simple fix for a common annoyance. If you've got a hinged windshield, a cabin door, or a hatch that bangs around, this is the part that makes it stop.
