Sea-Dog Police Whistle, USCG Certified, 36in Lanyard
Sea-Dog Police Whistle, USCG Certified, 36in Lanyard — Product description
The Sea-Dog police whistle is a simple, dependable sound-signaling device for your boat. Molded from bright orange polystyrene with a 36-inch lanyard, it's USCG certified and ready to get someone's attention fast, wet or dry.
Every boat needs a sound-signaling device aboard, and this Sea-Dog police whistle is about as simple and dependable as they come. It's molded from orange polystyrene so it's easy to spot in a ditch bag or clipped to a PFD, and it puts out a sharp, loud blast when you need to get someone's attention fast.
The 36-inch lanyard means you can wear it around your neck or tie it off to a life jacket, so it's always within reach. No batteries, no electronics, nothing to fail at the worst moment. Just blow and it works.
It's USCG certified, which matters if you're checking boxes on your required safety gear. Keep one at the helm, tuck a spare in each life jacket, and hand them out to the kids on deck. We like these for kayaks, dinghies, and tenders too, anywhere a horn's overkill but you still want a way to signal. For the price, there's no reason not to have a few aboard.
