This Sea-Dog festoon LED bulb is a drop-in replacement for the warm, power-hungry bulbs in your boat's cabin, dome, and courtesy lights. Four white LEDs, a nickel-plated brass base that shrugs off the salt air, and a draw of just 0.24 watt on 12-volt power.
Festoon bulbs are those little tube-shaped bulbs with a metal cap on each end, and they're all over a boat. Cabin lights, dome lights, the courtesy light above the companionway. The trouble with the old incandescent ones is they run hot and pull real current. This Sea-Dog LED version fixes both.
