This is Sea-Dog's 2/0 AWG battery cable, a full 50-foot spool with a red jacket for your positive runs. Every strand is tinned copper, so it shrugs off the corrosion that kills plain wire in salt air. It's UL and ABYC certified, and it ships bare-ended so you can cut and crimp exact runs for your battery bank, inverter, windlass, or thruster.

When you're running heavy current on a boat, the wire matters as much as the gear it feeds. This is Sea-Dog's 2/0 AWG battery cable, sold as a 50-foot spool with a red jacket for your positive runs. Here's the thing about marine wire. It isn't the same as the plain copper cable you'd grab at an auto parts store. Every strand in this cable is tinned, coated in tin to fight the corrosion that eats bare copper alive in a salt-air environment. Bare copper looks fine for a season, then it starts to green up under the insulation where you can't see it, and your voltage drop climbs while your connections get hot. Tinned copper holds up. 2/0 gauge is serious cable. It's sized for high-amp DC circuits, the kind of loads that would cook a smaller wire. This cable ships without terminals, bare ends on both sides. That's on purpose. Battery cable runs are almost never a standard length, so you cut what you need and crimp your own lugs to fit. It gives you clean, exact runs with no wasted cable coiled behind a panel. You'll need the right tools for it though. 2/0 lugs want a proper hydraulic crimper, not a hammer crimp, and every termination should get adhesive-lined heat shrink over it to seal out moisture.
