RIGID Revolve A-Pillar Light Kit, Amber, Set of 2 (41650)

The RIGID Revolve A-Pillar Light Kit bolts a pair of forward-facing amber pods right where you want them on a side-by-side, up on the A-pillars where they clear the hood and throw light down the trail. Each pod puts out 2,106 raw lumens in a broad spot pattern, and the amber color is the whole point. When you're running in dust, fog, or a light rain, white light bounces straight back into your eyes. Amber cuts through it. You see the trail instead of a wall of glare.

This is a complete kit, not just a pair of lights. RIGID includes the A-pillar brackets, two 2 inch tube straps, two 1.875 inch tube straps, all the mounting hardware, and a wiring harness with a relay and a switch. That means you clamp the pods to the cage, run the harness, drop the switch on the dash, and you're done. No hunting for a relay, no splicing together a switch panel, no ordering a fitment bracket separately. It's all in the box.

Here's the part that gives the Revolve line its name. Along with the main amber spot beam, each pod carries an independently controlled amber backlight ring. You can run the backlighting on its own for a custom look around camp or in the pits, then hit the main beam when you actually need to see. The kit ships with two amber PRO covers plus black covers, so you can change the face of the light to match your build.

Power draw is easy to live with. Each pod pulls about 1.4 amps at 14 volts, 22 watts total, and the whole kit accepts anywhere from 9 to 36 volts. So it doesn't matter whether your machine runs a 12-volt or 24-volt electrical system, this drops right in. The included relay keeps the current load off the switch and off your accessory wiring, which is how you want an auxiliary light wired anyway.

The beam itself is a broad spot, 30.6 degrees wide and 33.6 degrees tall. That's a smart spread for A-pillar lighting. You get a wide pool of light right in front of the machine for those tight, technical sections, and enough reach to pick up the trail ahead, out to roughly 267 meters at 0.25 lux. Peak beam intensity comes in at 17,922 cd. It's not a narrow long-range spot, it's a work-and-trail light that fills the near and mid field where a side-by-side actually spends its time.

Build quality is what you'd expect from RIGID. Black housing, clear lens, sealed against dust, mud, and water so a pressure-washer session at the end of the day won't kill it. Each pod weighs about 0.6 pounds, so they don't load up the cage or add vibration mass where the straps clamp. Speaking of which, snug those clamp bolts down and add a dab of thread locker. Cage tubing takes a beating on rough trail and you don't want a pod walking loose fifty miles from the truck.

Who's this for? Anybody adding real, usable lighting to a UTV who wants a clean, matched setup out of one box instead of piecing together lights, brackets, and wiring from three different orders. The amber output makes it a favorite for dusty desert running and anyone who rides in a group, since amber keeps the dust cloud from washing out your own vision. If you're after pure long-distance white light for wide-open high-speed running, a dedicated long-range spot is a better tool. For everything else a side-by-side does, day rides, night rides, dusty two-tracks, this is a well-sorted kit.
