RIGID Industries Q-Series Pro 7-Inch Flood LED Light

The RIGID Industries Q-Series Pro is what you bolt on when a stock headlight just isn't cutting it on the trail. It's a 7-inch square flood light that pushes 12,672 raw lumens across a wide, even spread. Not a tight pencil beam that lights up one tree a quarter mile out. A flood pattern, so it washes the whole scene right in front of you. That's the light you want crawling rocks at 3 mph, backing a trailer into a dark campsite, or working around the rig at night.

Flood is the key word here. If you've run a spot beam off-road, you know the problem. It reaches far but leaves a black hole in your near field, and your eyes fight it constantly. This Q-Series Pro flood fills that near-to-mid zone with clean, usable light. Mount a pair on the bumper for a wide wash, put one on the A-pillar as a work light, or run them off the back for reversing and camp setup. On a UTV cage or a roof rack, the wide throw keeps the trail edges lit so you catch the ruts before they catch you. Either way, you're lighting the ground you actually drive on.

The build is straight off-road grade. The lens is unbreakable clear polycarbonate, so a kicked-up rock or a low branch isn't going to crack it. As the light heats up and cools down, the air pressure inside the housing changes. For any run over about ten feet, step up to 10-gauge wire to keep voltage from sagging and the output from dimming. The good news is RIGID includes the harness with an inline switch and a sealed Deutsch connector, so you're not hunting for parts. That connector is weatherproof and locks in place, which is exactly what you want on something that gets pounded by mud, dust, and vibration.

Speaking of vibration, the kit ships with U-shape mounting brackets and vibration isolators. That isolator detail is worth calling out. Off-road lights live a hard life, and constant buzzing works fasteners loose over time. The isolators soak up some of that, but do yourself a favor and hit the bracket bolts with threadlocker on install. A little of that now saves you chasing a rattling light down the trail later.

One honest note on brightness. Raw lumens are the theoretical output of the LEDs before the optics and lens take their cut. Real-world effective output is lower, as it is with every LED light on the market. What you're paying for with the Q-Series Pro isn't a number on a box, it's the beam quality, the thermal management, and a housing that survives years of abuse. The 123-watt heat sink does get hot after a long run, so give it a little airflow and keep it away from anything that melts, like a nearby wiring loom or a soft top.

Last thing, and it matters. This light is marked for off-road use only. It isn't street-legal as a forward-facing driving light on public roads, so keep it for the trail, the job site, the farm, and the campground.
