The RIGID E-Series PRO 6-inch is a compact LED light bar that punches well above its size. Twelve LEDs behind a spot lens push 9504 raw lumens down a tight, focused beam, so it's the light you reach for when you need to see something far off in the dark. Wiring it in is straightforward because RIGID includes what you need to get it running. In the box you get two black powder-coated L-shaped brackets for a surface mount, a sealed Deutsch connector, a wiring harness, and a switch. The Deutsch connector is the right way to do it. Those connectors are weather-sealed and lock positively, so once it's crimped and seated you don't have to worry about it backing out or corroding the way a crimp-and-tape splice would. A dab of dielectric grease on the pins during assembly is cheap insurance against salt.

Plan your circuit around the draw. This light pulls 6.36 amps at 12 volts, or 1.88 amps at 24 volts. That's real current, so wire it to a properly fused circuit sized for the load, and if you're running more than one light off a single switch, put a relay in so you're not pushing all that current through a dash toggle. Fuse it, ground it well, and it'll run for years.

Mounting is a surface mount with the two included L-brackets. Pick a spot with a clear line of sight for the beam, a tower crossbar, a hardtop edge, a bow rail, or a bumper if you're putting it on a truck or side-by-side. The E-Series is at home on a boat, but plenty of these end up on off-road rigs and overland trucks too, because the same sealing and vibration resistance that survives a wet transom also survives a washboard trail. Use a thread locker on the bracket hardware so vibration doesn't walk the bolts loose over time.

Bottom line, this is a serious little spot light from a company that builds them right. It's bright, it's sealed, it comes with the connector, harness, brackets, and switch you need, and the Midnight finish keeps it looking clean when the sun's up.
