If you run a shallow water anchor, you already know the mounting is half the battle. The Lewmar SWA motor sandwich mount solves the part everybody dreads: getting the anchor onto the boat without drilling a fresh set of holes through your transom or hull. It's a one-piece aluminum bracket that sandwiches onto the side of your jack plate, so the anchor rides right where you want it and your boat's structure stays exactly the way the builder left it.

Orientation is up to you. The mount is designed for either a port or starboard install, so you can put the anchor on whichever side keeps your rigging clean and your walkaround open. On a center console or a bay boat, that usually comes down to where your other transom gear already lives. Plan it out before you bolt anything down and you'll be happier with the layout.
