If you've got a Four Winns and you're finally adding real tower audio, this is the bracket that makes it clean. The JL Audio M-MCPv3-SM is a surface and deck mounting fixture built to hang ETXv2 and ETXv3 enclosed speakers off your boat's tower without a bunch of guesswork. Just know the mount sits a little proud of the surface. On a wakeboard or wakesurf boat where tow ropes get tossed around, that's worth thinking about. You don't want a rope snagging a speaker on a big set.

JL Audio builds this out of aluminum with a clear anodized finish, and the included fasteners are stainless steel. Anodizing does a good job shrugging off freshwater oxidation. In salt, it's a little different. The finish can start to pit over a season or two if you never touch it, so a coat of wax once a year keeps it looking sharp and slows things down. If you're running in a coastal or brackish slip, a lot of owners step the included stainless up to a marine-rated 316 fastener for the pieces that stay wet. The mount doesn't care either way. It's your call based on where you boat.

Install is straightforward, but a couple of dock-tested habits go a long way. Towers vibrate. A lot. Between wake chop and the speakers themselves, stock hardware can start to back out after twenty or thirty hours of run time, so put a dab of blue threadlocker on the bolts when you set them. If your tower uses thin-wall aluminum tube, add a backing plate behind the mounting point. Some of the lighter towers flex enough that a plate spreads the load and keeps the bracket from working the metal. Snug everything down in stages, side to side, so the bracket seats flat against the tube instead of cocking to one edge. And run your speaker wire down inside the tube where you can, not zip-tied to the outside. Cleaner look, and the wire lasts longer out of the sun.
