Hella Marine White/Red LED Chart Lamp | 9-31V DC — Product description

The Hella Marine chart lamp puts clean white light right where you need it at the chart table, then switches to red so you can plot a course without wrecking your night vision. It runs on anything from 9 to 31 volts, so it drops straight into a 12 or 24 volt system. Black housing, 316 stainless arm, built to live on the water.

If you've read a chart at 2 a.m., you know a bright cabin light wrecks your night vision. That's the problem this lamp solves. The Hella Marine chart lamp gives you two modes. White light for detail work at the chart table, and a soft red beam for navigation once the sun's down. The red keeps your eyes adjusted to the dark, so you can step out to the helm and still see.

The arm is 316 stainless steel, so it shrugs off salt air and keeps its finish. The housing is black plastic that's UV and impact resistant, which matters on a boat that bakes in the sun and takes a pounding in a seaway. It's rated IP53 against dust and spray, and it's CE approved. Bend the arm to aim the light where you want it, then leave it.

Wiring's easy. It runs on 9 to 31 volts DC, so it works on 12V and 24V systems without any fuss, and it ships with a 120mm pre-wired marine cable ready to connect. It's a table mount, good for the chart table, the nav station, a berth, or anywhere you want an adjustable reading light that won't blind you.
