The Hella Marine ValueFit S3000 is a compact LED work light built for the jobs that happen after the sun goes down. Docking, rigging lines, washing down the cockpit, digging through a hatch for a tool. It throws 3000 measured lumens from a 3.93 inch square housing, and it's wired to run on anything from 10 to 30 volts DC, so it drops straight onto a 12 volt or 24 volt system without a converter.

That pigtail is short on purpose, but it does mean most flybridge or hardtop installs need an extension or a splice to reach a switch panel. Plan the wire run before you drill.

Mounting is bracket style with the black stainless bracket included, so you can aim it where you need the light and lock it down. One field note worth passing along. On fast planing hulls the bracket hardware can work loose from vibration over a season, so a drop of threadlocker on the bracket bolts and a quick check every month or so keeps it pointed where you set it. If you're mounting it up high over a white deck, be aware the close range beam can throw a bright hot spot, so a higher mount angle spreads the light more evenly.

One more electrical note if you run outboards. The S3000 is happy across the full 10 to 30 volt range, but the voltage spikes that come off outboard charging systems are hard on any LED driver. If your boat has a history of frying electronics, adding a simple voltage spike suppressor on the circuit is cheap insurance and worth doing while you've got the panel open.
