Egis MaxiBus 6250-208 250A Bus Bar — Product description

The Egis MaxiBus is a 250-amp power distribution bus for the Egis FLEX system. Two 5/16-inch main studs handle your heavy feeds, and eight #10 screw terminals land the smaller branch circuits, all in one tidy block with stainless hardware and a clear protective cover.

The Egis MaxiBus is a 250-amp power distribution bus built for the Egis FLEX system. You get two 5/16-inch main studs for your heavy feeds, the battery line and the main ground or a big inverter run, plus eight #10 screw terminals for the smaller circuits branching off. It's a clean way to land a lot of wires in one spot on the boat.

The hardware is stainless steel and self-locking, so it won't back off with engine vibration or a season of pounding across chop. That matters on a bus carrying real current. A loose stud is a hot stud. The included transparent cover snaps on with break-away tabs, which means you can pop it for a quick visual inspection without pulling the whole thing apart, and it keeps a dropped tool or a stray wire from shorting across the terminals.

Good fit for rigging a helm, a battery shelf, or an accessory panel where you need both high-current studs and a row of switched or fused circuits in a single block. It mounts as part of a FLEX layout or on its own.

How many circuits can I connect?

Two 5/16-inch main studs plus eight #10 screw terminals, giving you both heavy-current and branch connections on one bus.

Does it come with a cover?

Yes. A protective transparent cover is included. It snaps on with break-away tabs so you can lift it for inspection without removing the whole unit.

Is the hardware corrosion resistant?

The MaxiBus uses stainless steel self-locking hardware, which holds its torque through vibration and stands up to salt and spray.
