Egis 3914 Compact AMI/MIDI Fuse Block — Product description

The Egis 3914 is a compact AMI/MIDI fuse block built to replace older MAXI blocks on your boat. Tin-plated copper busbar, glass-filled nylon body, IP54 splash resistance, and ignition protection make it a dependable choice for DC distribution in engine bays, battery compartments, and gassy spaces like LPG lockers.

If you're upgrading a fuse block on your boat, the Egis 3914 is a clean, compact way to do it. It takes AMI/MIDI fuses and drops right in where an older MAXI block used to live. The busbar is tin-plated copper, so you get minimal voltage drop and solid conductivity across every circuit.

Construction is glass-filled nylon, which holds up to the heat and vibration you get down in an engine bay or a battery compartment. It's rated IP54, so it'll shrug off splashes when it's mounted properly. The stainless steel self-locking hardware keeps your connections tight over the long haul, with no backing off from engine vibration.

Here's a detail we like. The separate stud connections let you land heavier gauge cables and their terminals without crowding the fuse tab itself. And it's ignition protected, so you can run it in gassy spaces like an LPG locker or on a gas boat. Rated to 80 VDC and backed by a 4 year warranty.

Frequently asked questions

What fuses does the Egis 3914 accept?

It takes AMI/MIDI fuses and supports all fuse values, so you can size each circuit to your load. It's designed as a drop-in replacement for older MAXI-style blocks.

Is the 3914 ignition protected?

Yes. It's ignition protected, which means it's rated for installation in potentially hazardous gaseous environments such as an LPG locker or on a gas boat.

How water resistant is this fuse block?

It carries an IP54 ingress protection rating, so it resists water splashes when it's mounted properly. It's not meant for full submersion.

What's the voltage rating and warranty?

It's rated to 80 VDC, which covers 12V and 24V marine systems with plenty of headroom, and it's backed by a 4 year warranty.
