The CURT 45554 starter kit gets you towing without a parts-counter runaround. One box holds a pre-torqued 2-inch ball, a ball mount, a key-operated hitch lock, pin and clip, and a tube cover, all rated for 7,500 lbs. Drop a 2-inch trailer onto a 2-inch receiver and go.

It's a complete starter set for a 2-inch receiver hitch, and it drops a pre-torqued 2-inch ball, a ball mount, a hitch lock, a pin and clip, and a rubber tube cover into one reusable case.
The ball mount carries 7,500 lbs gross trailer weight and 750 lbs tongue weight, with 4 inches of drop and 2 inches of rise depending on which way you flip it.
