There's the unit up top that does the actual cooling, and there's the interior assembly that ties it into your coach and pushes the air where you want it. The Coleman Mach 8430A6332 is that second piece. It's the ChillGrille ceiling assembly, the white interior housing that mounts to your ceiling, connects to the rooftop Mach unit, and routes conditioned air through your rig's built-in ducts.

This one is set up for lateral in-roof ducting with side air discharge. That means it feeds the cool air out the sides into the ductwork running through your roof, instead of dumping it straight down out of a ceiling grille. If your travel trailer, fifth wheel, or motorhome came with ducted A/C from the factory, this is the style of assembly you're matching. It's cool-only, so there's no heat strip built in. And it's the version that ships without the air divider, which keeps the airflow path simple through the ducts.

Why does the ducting style matter so much? Because a side-discharge, in-roof setup is what pushes cold air the length of a bigger coach evenly. But on a rig with ducts running front to back, you want the interior assembly that feeds those ducts properly so every register gets its share. A couple of things worth knowing before you order. This is a cool-only assembly. If your rig needs heat too, the heat-ready version in this same family is the 8430A635, so make sure you're matching what your coach actually runs. And because this is the ducted, lateral, side-discharge configuration, it's meant for coaches plumbed for in-roof ducting, not the non-ducted rigs where air comes straight down out of the ceiling. Check how your current assembly discharges before you buy so you get the right match.

Installation is a reasonable DIY job if you're comfortable working overhead and handling both low-voltage and 115 VAC connections. You'll be up on a ladder inside the coach, dropping the old assembly, and lining the new one up to the roof gasket and duct openings. If AC line voltage isn't your thing, have an RV tech handle it.
