Coleman RVP Mach 10 15,000 BTU Rooftop AC with Heat Pump — Product description

The Coleman RVP Mach 10 is a 15,000 BTU rooftop air conditioner with a built-in heat pump, so it cools in summer and adds supplemental heat when the mornings turn cold. It drops into a standard 14 inch by 14 inch vent opening on most RVs, runs on 120-volt shore power, and keeps a low profile in textured black.

The Coleman RVP Mach 10 is a 15,000 BTU rooftop air conditioner with a built-in heat pump, so it cools through summer and takes the chill off cooler mornings without always firing up your furnace. It drops into a standard 14 inch by 14 inch roof vent opening, which makes it a straight swap on most travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes.

The textured black shroud runs on 120 volt shore power and pulls 14.4 amps at the compressor, so size your generator or pedestal accordingly. The top/down mount design installs from the roof down into the existing vent opening. At 82 pounds it's a two-person lift to set on the roof, but the profile stays low at 11.8 inches tall.

One thing to know before you order: the ceiling assembly and thermostat aren't included. You'll need to add the matching ceiling kit and control for your coach. Get those right and you've got quiet, capable climate control for the whole rig.

Frequently asked questions

Does this air conditioner include a thermostat and ceiling assembly?

No. The ceiling assembly and thermostat must be ordered separately. Match them to your coach and control preference before you install.

Will it fit my existing roof vent?

It's designed for standard 14 inch by 14 inch vent openings, the common size on most travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. Measure your opening to confirm before ordering.

What does the heat pump do?

The heat pump lets the unit run in reverse to provide supplemental heat in cooler weather, so you can take the chill off without always running the propane furnace. In very cold temperatures you'll still want your furnace.

What power does it need?

It runs on 120-volt AC power and draws 14.4 amps at the compressor. Plan for shore power or a generator rated to handle that startup and running load.

How much does it weigh?

About 82 pounds. It's a two-person lift to get it onto the roof safely.
