Measure your frame outside-to-outside before you order. If your bows are round tube, or wider than 102 inches, this isn't the one. And because it's the canvas only, you'll reuse your existing bows, straps, and mounting hardware. Nothing in this package bolts to the deck.

Installation is straightforward if you've got a helper and a decent afternoon. Lay the new canvas over the frame, work it forward and aft so the seams line up with the bows, then snug it down. One tip from years of doing these: pre-bend or set your bows to match the natural curve of the top before you tension everything, or you'll chase wrinkles and wind flap all season. Clamp-style square frames can slip a little under load, so if yours don't have set screws or rubber inserts, a couple of hidden hose clamps at the feet keep everything put on the highway and at speed.

Jet Black looks sharp on the water and hides road grime, but it does show salt. If you run in brackish or salt water, give the top a fresh-water rinse now and then so white salt residue doesn't set into the weave. Same goes for storage. Acrylic shrugs off mildew as long as it can breathe, so let the top dry before you fold it away and store it somewhere with a little air movement. Black fabric can hide the early signs of mildew in a damp, closed-up cover, so dry-then-store is the habit that makes a top last.
