Camco RhinoFLEX 39671 10-Ft RV Sewer Hose, 3-In Black — Product description

The Camco RhinoFLEX 39671 is the 10-foot sewer hose at the core of Camco's toughest waste line. A 23-mil polyolefin wall reinforced with steel wire holds whatever shape you set, so your run drains on a steady downhill slope. This is the hose-only version, ready to pair with your RhinoFLEX fittings.

The Camco RhinoFLEX 39671 is the 10-foot sewer hose at the heart of Camco's toughest waste line. It's built from 23 mils of heavy-duty polyolefin reinforced with a steel wire core, and that combination is the whole point. The wire lets the hose hold whatever shape you set it to. Route it around a jack, drop it into a dump inlet at the angle you want, and it stays there until you unhook it and compress it back down. No sagging belly full of waste sitting between your rig and the drain.

This is the hose-only version. You get the 10-foot RhinoFLEX hose and nothing else in the box, so it's the piece you want when you're building out a fresh setup with your own RhinoFLEX swivel fittings, or when the hose on an older run has finally given up but the fittings are still good. The swivel bayonet fittings, the clear elbow, and the 4-in-1 dump-station adapter are all sold separately. If you'd rather have a complete ready-to-dump kit, look at the RhinoFLEX kits that ship with the fittings already attached.

Extended, it reaches a full 10 feet, which covers most spots where the dump inlet sits a little farther from your rig than you'd like. When you're done, it collapses down to just 32 inches. That compressed length matters more than people expect. A hose that packs down to 32 inches drops neatly into a standard 4-inch square RV bumper or tucks into a storage bay without fighting you. The 3-inch diameter is the standard RV sewer size, so it mates up with the connections and dump-station inlets you already deal with. And because the wall stays flexible even after it compresses, you're not wrestling a stiff coil back into shape the next time you set up camp.

Why the steel wire matters, in plain terms. A smooth hose that won't hold a slope leaves low spots, and low spots hold water and solids you'd rather not have sitting there between dumps. The reinforced RhinoFLEX wall keeps the tube round and keeps your downhill run actually running downhill. Set the pitch once and it stays put. That's the difference between a quick, clean dump and standing there shaking the hose to coax the last of it along.

The black polyolefin wall takes the abuse that comes with this job. Dragged across concrete dump pads, parked in the sun at a seasonal site, coiled and uncoiled a few hundred times over a season, it holds up. It's a proven design that plenty of full-timers have run for years without babying it, and it's the same material and wall thickness Camco uses across the RhinoFLEX line. That consistency means a section like this drops right in alongside the fittings and hoses you're already running, with no surprises in fit or feel.

A few honest notes on use. Always dump the black tank first, then the gray, so the gray water flushes the inside of the hose on its way out. Rinse the hose after each dump if your site has a utility spigot, then compress it, cap the ends, and store it out of direct sun when you can. And because this one is hose only, check that your existing RhinoFLEX fittings are in good shape before you head out, since a cracked bayonet fitting will leak no matter how good the hose is. It's also worth carrying a spare pair of disposable gloves and a short bungee to hold the hose supports in place, because a tidy, well-supported run drains faster and cleaner than one that's kinked or drooping. Treat it right and this is the last 10-foot section you'll think about for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

What comes in the box?

The 10-foot RhinoFLEX hose only. This version ships as the bare hose section with no fittings or adapters, so it's meant to pair with RhinoFLEX swivel fittings you already own or buy separately.

Does it include the swivel bayonet fittings or a dump-station adapter?

No. The bayonet swivel fittings, clear elbow, and 4-in-1 dump-station adapter are sold separately. If you want everything in one package, choose a complete RhinoFLEX kit that ships with the fittings attached.

How long is it extended, and how small does it store?

It stretches to a full 10 feet in use and compresses down to about 32 inches for storage, small enough to slide into a standard 4-inch square RV bumper.

What diameter is the hose?

3 inches, the standard RV sewer hose size, so it fits typical RV waste outlets and dump-station inlets.

What is it made of?

A 23-mil heavy-duty polyolefin wall reinforced with steel wire. The polyolefin resists tears and UV, and the steel wire lets the hose hold its shape.

Will it really hold its shape on a slope?

Yes. The steel-wire reinforcement is what keeps the tube round and lets you set a downhill pitch that stays put, so waste keeps moving instead of pooling in a low spot.

Can I use this as an extension for a hose run I already have?

Yes. As long as you connect it with RhinoFLEX fittings, this 10-foot section works as a standalone hose or as added length on an existing RhinoFLEX run.

How do I keep it clean and lasting?

Dump the black tank first and the gray second so the gray water rinses the inside on the way out. Rinse the outside if you have a utility spigot, compress it, cap the ends, and store it out of direct sun.
