Trailer sway is one of those things you don't think about until you feel it. A gust hits, a semi blows past, and the back of the rig starts to wag. A friction sway control bar tames that motion, but it has to bolt to something solid on your hitch. That's exactly what the Camco Eaz-Lift 48386 sway control ball mount adapter gives you. It's the small ball-and-bracket that provides a clean attachment point for the sway control arm.

Here's how it works. Your sway control bar runs from the trailer A-frame to a fixed point near the hitch ball. This adapter bolts onto your existing ball mount and sits off to the side, giving the sway control's forward socket a ball to grab. Without it, there's nowhere to anchor that end of the bar.
