Camco 55374 Double Battery Box, 6V GC2 & 12V Group 24

If you've decided to move your RV or boat house bank over to a pair of 6-volt golf cart batteries, you need a box that actually fits them, and the Camco 55374 is built exactly for that job. It's a double battery box that holds two 6V Group GC2 batteries sitting end-to-end, or two 12V Group 24 or 24M batteries if that's the setup you're running. One box, two batteries, wired to suit whatever bank you're building.

Here's why this matters. Mount the foot clamps to your battery tray, run the straps over the top, and your batteries aren't going anywhere, even on washboard forest roads or a choppy day on the water.

One reminder for flooded lead-acid batteries: they give off hydrogen gas as they charge, so keep the box in a compartment that breathes and don't seal it up airtight.

Swapping out an old, brittle box is a ten-minute job. Pull the old straps, set the new box in place, mount the foot clamps to the tray, and drop your batteries back in. So who's this for?
