Every boat ends up with the same problem eventually. You add a stereo, then a chartplotter, then a couple of accessory circuits, and before long there's a fistful of inline fuse holders zip-tied behind the helm. It's ugly, it's hard to trace, and when something pops you're stuck squeezing a hand back into a dark corner to find it. The Blue Sea Systems 7725 SafetyHub 100 fixes all of that. It's a single, covered fuse block that gives you 7 ATO/ATC branch circuits plus a heavy MIDI/AMI main fuse position, all rated to 280A maximum at 32V DC.

Here's how it lays out. The MIDI/AMI position takes the big incoming feed from your battery or switch and protects the cable itself. That's your main line of defense against a dead short on the supply side. From there, the 7 ATO/ATC circuits branch off to your individual loads, each taking a standard blade fuse up to 30A. So your bilge pump, nav lights, electronics, and accessory outlets all get their own protection, and you can see every fuse at a glance instead of hunting for the one that popped.

Because it's rated to 32V DC, it works equally well on 12V and 24V systems. Keep it away from the worst of the spray and the engine heat, and it'll ride out years of vibration without complaint.

The snap-on protective cover is the part that earns its keep on a real boat. Two yellow latch tabs pop it open for access, and closed it keeps the terminals shielded from accidental shorts, dropped tools, and spray. If you're mounting it somewhere that sees vibration, snug the input stud to spec and check it after the first season. A 280A block wants a serious feed, so plan on heavy cable, 2/0 or larger on the main, to keep the input studs from running warm under load.

One thing to be clear about: this is the block, not a full kit. It comes with the protective cover, the 8 write-on labels, and an ATO/ATC fuse connector plug for adding a fused output tap. The fuses themselves are sold separately, so match your ATO/ATC blade fuses to each branch load and pick the right MIDI or AMI fuse for your main feed. That's normal for a distribution block of this class, and it lets you size every circuit exactly to your boat.

Who's this for? Anyone consolidating a messy DC panel, rigging a new accessory bank, or building out a clean electrical system from scratch. It pairs naturally with a Blue Sea battery switch or a main busbar on the supply side.
