The Actisense A2K-T-MFF is a Micro T-piece, the small three-way connector that lets you tap one device into an existing NMEA 2000 backbone. It has two female connectors and one male connector, so it drops into the trunk line and gives you a spur, a port, to run a cable out to a chartplotter, a sensor, an engine gateway, whatever you're adding.
