Digital Yacht NMEA 2000 Transducer Smart Sensor DTS810
Digital Yacht NMEA 2000 Transducer Smart Sensor DTS810 Product Description
The DST810 is our latest generation thru hull plastic speed, depth and temp transducer. It also has a built in attitude sensor for vessel heel and trim measurements and a fast 5Hz update of boat speed.
Ideal for speed trimming and superior accuracy. Trim and heel data is updated at 10Hz. It connects via NMEA 2000 – simply “T†into the bus and your network will have an accurate source of depth, speed, water temperature, heel and trim.
It also features a Bluetooth interface which is used for transducer calibration. Highly accurate speed results can be achieved with an advanced calibration app (for iOS and Android) available – compensating for heel too.
Once calibrated, the data is saved and retained in the transducer so there’s no need for calibrating individual instruments. It’s the perfect sensor to gather depth, speed and temperature data for an iPad or tablet based instrument system used in conjunction with our NavLink 2 NMEA to WiFi Gateway.
NMEA 2000 Transducer Smart Sensor DTS810
This combination transducer gives you accurate information about depth, speed and water temperature. The transducer is supplied with a thru-hull / ground sleeve for installation in the bottom of the vessel. The transducer can be easily pulled out for cleaning and maintenance. The data from the Triducer can be displayed on any radar, chart plotter, or device that accepts NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000® data. The Airmar type DST810 breakthrough sensor fits into the Airmar type P617V breakthrough sleeve (included with the DST810). Because the widely used airmar thru-hull transducer type DST800 is also supplied with the thru-hull type P617V, an exchange / upgrade of existing transducers of the type DST800 with the type DST810 is possible without much effort. Popular depth sensor for shallow water performance.
