Featuring the GlobalFix V4 EPIRB (Category 2) with a manual deployment bracket and a 10-year user-replaceable battery, let Search and Rescue know your exact location in a matter of minutes. Carriage of the included ResQFlare Electronic Distress Flare and the ACR Distress Flag simplifies the entire boating experience for U.S. boaters by negating the USCG requirement to carry traditional pyrotechnic flares onboard your vessel. The ResQFlare provides 360°visibility for over 6 miles and features exceptional operational life (burn time) as it meets the USCG 75 CD peak equivalent fixed light intensity requirement for more than 20 hours. When Search and Rescue arrived on the scene, the bright LED C-Strobe H2O and HemiLight3 Strobe lights will get rescuers' attention at night or in daylight hours use the signal mirror or distress flag to gain their attention. Conveniently store all your emergency gear inside the RapidDitch Express bag which can float up to 15 lbs of gear.

GlobalFix V4 EPIRB is a maritime distress beacon with multiple built-in redundancy to increase your chances of survival in emergency situations. The internal GPS of GlobalFix V4 EPIRB will accurately locate your location, which is transmitted by a 406 MHz distress signal, and can be used to triangulate your location without GPS coordinates. The beacon’s 1.5 MHz homing signal will directly bring local search and rescue forces to your location, while EPIRB’s LED strobe lights will enable them to intuitively find your location in low-light environments. GlobalFix V4 has two functional self-tests to monitor beacon transmission, power and battery performance, and GPS acquisition. The replacement interval for user-replaceable battery packs is 10 years, which reduces the total cost of ownership and makes replacement a breeze. The device is activated manually.
