The Lowrance HDI Nosecone (MPN 000-15275-001) is the transducer nosecone designed specifically for the Lowrance Ghost trolling motor. It replaces the standard Ghost nosecone with one that houses an HDI transducer. Once installed, you get CHIRP traditional sonar and DownScan piped to your Lowrance HDS Live, HDS Carbon, Elite FS, or similar Lowrance chartplotter through the Ghost's integrated transducer cable.
What it does. The HDI transducer is the same module used in Lowrance's standalone transducer products. It combines wide-band CHIRP traditional 2D sonar down-imaging out to about 100 feet per side, and DownScan down-imaging in a single unit. Does this fit my Lowrance Ghost X?
No. This nosecone is for the original Lowrance Ghost (current production) only. The Ghost X is a next-gen platform with different lower unit geometry, and it uses a different transducer setup. If you have a Ghost X, Lowrance makes a dedicated transducer for that platform.
Does it work with non-Lowrance trolling motors?

No. The Ghost's spot-lock and waypoint navigation are part of the Ghost head unit and don't depend on the nosecone. The nosecone only adds sonar capability. You get the full Ghost feature set plus sonar.
What's the difference between HDI and ActiveTarget?
HDI is persistent CHIRP/DownScan/DownScan, the foundation sonar package. ActiveTarget is forward-facing active sonar (similar to live sonar). They're complementary, not competing. Many anglers run both, with HDI from the trolling motor nosecone and ActiveTarget from a separate transducer.
Is the cable connection automatic when I install the nosecone?

Does this work with TripleShot or HDI transducers?

How long is the cable?
