I like Blue Sea electrics and trust their stuff. That said, the blue light from these is incredibly blinding at night. I ended up putting a Leisure Lectronics dimmer in the dash to pare the intensity back at night. It would have been better if the default color was red and the "on" color was blue, but you cannot wire them that way. I love the switches, and they were really the logical choice for my dash, but they do overpower your gauges and your eyes absent dimming, which can be accomplished with a PWM dimmer or an appropriately sized resistor.
