Euro Black 4" Tachometer - 7,000 RPM (Gas - All Outboard)
Perimeter-lighted Black dial with bold White graphics, Black aluminum bezel, contoured White pointer and flat glass lens.
Electronic tachometers work by counting pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator or magnetic pickup sender. The tach is hooked up to +12VDC, Ground and one of the signal sources listed.
By selecting the right tach and setting the switch on the back to the correct position you let the tachometer know how many pulses are sent per each engine revolution.

The peripherally illuminated black dial has striking white graphics, a black aluminum frame, contoured white hands and flat glass lenses. The tachometer works by counting the pulses generated by the ignition system, alternator, tachometer signal generator, or magnetic sensor transmitter. The tachometer is connected to +12V DC, grounded and one of the signal sources listed above. By choosing the right speed and setting the switch on the back to the right position, you can let the tachometer know how many pulses are sent per engine revolution. These tachometers have a warning light system built into the dial, and when a fault is detected from the engine, the indicator light will show a warning indicator. Can be used with SystemCheck, Suzuki Monitor or OBD warning system.
