Jabsco flexible impellers can be applied to most brands and models of bronze flexible impeller engine cooling pumps, bilge pumps, transfer pumps and general pumps. Jabsco flexible impellers undergo strict quality control to ensure reliable, efficient and long-lasting performance. Replace all impellers at least once a year or earlier, depending on the engine load. If installed correctly, the impeller may last for several years, but it is always recommended to follow a preventive maintenance plan instead of corrective maintenance. It is easy to replace the impeller. By removing the end cap screws, the Jabsco impeller removal tool or channel locking pliers can be used to remove the impeller to grasp the hub of the impeller. Do not use screwdrivers, as they may damage the surface of the pump body, cause leakage, and may be dangerous in confined spaces. In an emergency, please be sure to bring a spare impeller on board. The impeller is one of the most important components of the engine cooling system and should always be treated as such. Always grease new impellers.
