Humminbird AS EC QDE Ethernet Adapter Cable Product Description

Unlock Seamless Networking for Your Humminbird Fish Finders

Enhance your on-water experience by connecting multiple Humminbird units effortlessly. This compact Ethernet adapter cable bridges the gap between your fish finder and Ethernet-enabled accessories, enabling real-time data sharing like sonar imagery, waypoints, and GPS tracks. Whether you're running a Helix series setup or integrating with a Minn Kota i-Pilot Link trolling motor, it delivers reliable performance without the clutter of extra wiring.

Designed for anglers who demand precision, this adapter simplifies expanding your electronics suite. Share high-definition sonar views across screens, control trolling motor features from your display, or sync navigation data—all while keeping your helm organized. It's a game-changer for tournament pros and weekend warriors alike, ensuring everyone on board stays informed.

Perfect Fit for Key Humminbird Models

This adapter shines with popular series including Helix 15, 12, 10, 9, and 8 models, as well as Helix 7 G2N, G3N, and G4N variants and 859 units. It adapts 8-pin Ethernet cables to 5-pin unit connections, making it versatile for various setups.

  • Supports full Helix lineup for broad compatibility
  • Ideal for 700 HD Series and select HD models like 8x9ci, 9x9ci, and 11x9ci
  • Works with older 800, 900, and 1100 series when paired correctly

At just 1 foot long and in sleek black, it tucks away neatly, minimizing deck clutter on boats of any size.

Key Features That Elevate Your Fishing Tech

  • Plug-and-Play Simplicity: No complex tools needed—connect in minutes for instant networking.
  • Robust Build: Marine-grade construction withstands harsh conditions, from saltwater spray to vibrations.
  • Expanded Capabilities: Link fish finders for split-screen views, share charts, or command i-Pilot Link functions like Spot-Lock and contour following.
  • Scalable Networking: For two compatible units, pair with two adapters and an Ethernet cable tailored to your boat's layout.

Backed by a solid warranty, it offers peace of mind on every trip. Pro tip: Always check for the latest software updates to maximize compatibility and unlock new features.

Networking Made Easy: Setup Scenarios

Setting up your network is straightforward. For linking two Helix or 700 HD units, grab two adapters and an Ethernet cable of suitable length—think 10 to 30 feet depending on your console distance.

Mixing series? One adapter often suffices when connecting a newer HD model to a pre-2014 unit, plus your Ethernet cable. This setup shines for dual-screen boats, letting the bow unit share forward-facing sonar with the console display.

Common angler hack: Route cables along existing wiring paths under gunwales for a clean, professional install. Test connections on the water to confirm data flow before heading out.

Boost Your Angling Edge with Shared Intelligence

Imagine spotting a school of walleye on side imaging, then instantly sharing that exact location with your partner's unit—no yelling coordinates across the boat. Or let your trolling motor auto-follow contours based on live sonar data from the finder. This adapter turns individual devices into a unified system, saving time and increasing catch rates.

For multi-species pursuits, network charts update simultaneously, keeping your crew on the same page. It's especially valuable in big water where precise positioning matters most.
