Every trim tab is sheared and bent, not welded. Welding alters the properties of stainless steel which invites corrosion. Bennett actuators feature through-hull hydraulics. There are no vulnerable external hoses to decay. Plus, every Hydraulic Power Unit is tested by both person and computer to insure this reliable unit deflects the trim tabs, holds firmly during use, and retracts smoothly.

Welding can change the properties of stainless steel, leading to corrosion. The Bennett actuator has a patented full-hull hydraulic system. There are no external hoses that are susceptible to corrosion. In addition, each hydraulic power unit has been tested by humans and computers to ensure that the reliable unit can deflect the decorative sheet, firmly fix it and retract smoothly during use. The components of the Bennett system should be designed and packaged with your own hands in mind. Each kit is complete, with one-page step-by-step instructions and templates for simple, precise and satisfactory installation. Each kit includes: two high-quality 304 stainless steel back plates with robust nylon/fiberglass actuators. No external hose will rot or be damaged.
