Icom Ic-2730A Vhf/uhf FM transceiver provides Vhf/uhf reception, but also Vhf/vhf, Uhf/uhf simultaneous reception function. These transceivers have a built-in duplexer, so you can use 144 and 430 MHz dual-band antennas without the need for an external duplexer. The main dial, volume, squelch knobs and main control buttons of each frequency band are arranged symmetrically. The IC-2730A transceiver uses a durable PA module that can provide 50 watts of high power analog operation in the 2 meter and 70 cm frequency bands. Built-in Ctcss and Dtcs tones enable quiet standby and repeater access. Their split tone feature allows you to set Ctcss/Dtcs tones for the repeater's uplink and downlink separately. The IC-2730A receiver covers 118-174 and 375-550MHz. You will be able to listen to aviation, navigation, weather channels and other public facilities communications. The display size of ICOM Ic-2730A is 1.5 times that of ICOM's other similar products.
