The Furuno MU192HD 19-inch Color LCD Monitor (MPN MU192HD) is Furuno's 19-inch marine-grade LCD with color LCD capability, designed as the display half of the NavNet TZtouch black-box system architecture. Unlike the integrated TZtouch3 MFD lineup that combines display and processor in one unit, the MU192HD is a standalone monitor that pairs with a separate processor (NavNet TZtouch black box) for installs where the display and processor architecture need to be separated.

Why a separate monitor instead of an integrated MFD. Two reasons. First, install flexibility. SXGA-resolution color LCD. The MU192HD uses SXGA LCD technology rather than resistive or older capacitive designs. SXGA LCD is the same technology used in modern tablets and smartphones, delivering responsive color LCD sensitivity, gesture support (pinch-zoom, two-finger pan), and the monitor feel that operators expect from current-generation displays. For helms where the operator interacts with the display continuously through long passages or operational fishing days, the SXGA LCD responsiveness is genuinely operational.
