The Raymarine CAM330 (part E70660) is the mini day/night eyeball IP camera designed specifically for Raymarine Axiom chartplotters. Mount one or more CAM330 cameras around the boat (cockpit watch, engine room monitor, swim platform / aft camera, blind-spot fill-in cameras), connect to the Axiom helm chartplotter via the Axiom's Ethernet network, and view the live video feeds on the chartplotter screen. The right onboard video monitoring solution for boats running an Axiom-based helm where you want video integrated with the chartplotter rather than as a separate display system.
What it does. The CAM330 is a small ceiling-or-bulkhead-mount eyeball-style IP camera with a wide-field-of-view lens, HD video sensor, and built-in IR illuminators for low-light operation. Aim it at any area you want to monitor: cockpit (watch the kids while you're at the helm), engine room (check on the engines without leaving the helm), blind-spot zones (the area behind the stern, the side of the cabin you can't see from the helm), or fishing action (record the cockpit during a fishing day for highlight reels). The video feed displays on the Axiom chartplotter as one of the available video sources, alongside the chart, sonar, and other Axiom views.
3MP CMOS sensor, up to 1080p HD. The 3-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers up to 1080p HD video resolution. Crisp clear image with enough resolution to actually see what's happening (read text, recognize faces, identify equipment) rather than the typical low-resolution security-camera image quality. For the use cases the CAM330 is designed for - actual onboard observation rather than just security recording - the HD resolution is meaningful.
160-degree horizontal field of view, 130-degree vertical. The wide-angle lens captures most of any typical boat compartment in a single camera position. For monitoring the cockpit from a single ceiling-mounted camera, the 160-degree field covers the full cockpit width. For engine room monitoring from a single bulkhead-mounted camera, the field covers the typical engine room interior. The wide field reduces the number of cameras needed to cover a given area.
Multi-camera Axiom display. View up to 4 CAM330 video streams simultaneously on a single Axiom chartplotter display. The Axiom can show all four feeds in a 4-pane layout, switch between full-screen views of individual cameras, or show video alongside chart / sonar / radar in a multi-pane layout. For boats with several cameras (typical: cockpit, engine room, swim platform, foredeck) this gives the operator complete situational awareness from the helm.
Built-in infrared night vision. Built-in IR emitters around the lens illuminate the scene with infrared light invisible to the human eye. The camera's CMOS sensor sees the IR illumination and renders the scene in monochrome (black-and-white) night-vision view. Effective range up to 33 feet (10 meters). For night-time engine room monitoring, dock-side security after hours, and any low-light observation use case, the IR night vision is meaningfully more useful than a daylight-only camera.
Image flip and invert. The camera has software-selectable image flip and invert functions for ball-up vs. ball-down installation. Mount the camera with the ball facing down (typical ceiling mount in cockpit), the image is right-side-up. Mount with the ball facing up (typical floor or below-the-equipment mount), set the flip function so the image displays right-side-up on the Axiom. The flexibility means the camera works in installation orientations that wouldn't work for fixed-orientation cameras.
Rotating ball housing. The camera ball rotates within the housing for flexible aim adjustment after install. You set the housing in the install location and then rotate the ball to point the lens exactly where you want it. Loosen the lock, aim, tighten the lock - the camera stays aimed in the chosen direction. Allows aim adjustment without remounting the camera.
IP66 rated for marine install. The IP66 environmental rating protects against dust ingress (the 6 in IP6x means dust-tight) and against powerful water jets from any direction (the 6 in IPx6 means high-pressure water won't enter in harmful quantities). For both below-deck installations (engine room, head, cabin) and above-deck installations (cockpit, foredeck, hardtop), the IP66 rating is the right rating for the marine environment. Salt spray, rain, dock-side wash-down all handled.
12V direct OR Power over Ethernet (PoE). Two install power options. Direct 12V connection runs from a switched 12V circuit on the boat to the camera's power input - simple wiring, low electrical complexity. PoE runs both power and Ethernet data over the same single Ethernet cable from a PoE-equipped switch or injector - simpler cable routing (one cable per camera instead of two). PoE is the cleaner install for multi-camera setups where running multiple separate power and data cables to each camera location would be impractical.
ClearCruise AR compatible. With a Raymarine AR200 augmented reality sensor on the boat (sold separately), the CAM330 video feed becomes the source for ClearCruise AR overlay. The chartplotter overlays AIS targets, waypoints, chart objects, and other navigation data directly onto the live camera video, giving you a heads-up-display view of the world around the boat with chart objects visible in their real-world positions. For sailing in low-visibility conditions or for night-time navigation in busy waters, the AR overlay is a meaningful safety upgrade.
Compatibility. The CAM330 works with Raymarine Axiom chartplotters (Axiom, Axiom Pro, Axiom XL series). For older Raymarine chartplotters (eS Series, gS Series) without Axiom-class video network support, check the specific chartplotter's compatibility chart before assuming fit. For non-Raymarine chartplotters, the CAM330's IP camera output is standard ONVIF-compliant video so it can typically display on any IP-compatible video display, but the Axiom-specific multi-camera switching and ClearCruise AR features only work with the Axiom platform.
What's in the box. The CAM330 camera unit, mounting hardware kit, extension cable for cabling flexibility, and the install instruction sheet. Required separately: the Raymarine Axiom chartplotter to display the video, RayNet (Raymarine Ethernet) cable from the Axiom or network switch to the camera, 12V power wiring (if not using PoE), and PoE switch / injector (if using PoE).

Frequently asked questions
What does it do?
It's a mini IP camera that mounts around the boat and displays its video feed on a Raymarine Axiom chartplotter. Use it to monitor blind spots, watch the cockpit while you're at the helm, check on the engine room without leaving the bridge, observe the swim platform during dock approach, record fishing action, or improve nighttime navigation safety with infrared night vision. The video feed displays as one of the available view sources on the Axiom alongside chart, sonar, and radar.
Will it work with my chartplotter?
Designed for Raymarine Axiom, Axiom Pro, and Axiom XL chartplotters. For older Raymarine chartplotters (eS Series, gS Series), check the specific chartplotter's compatibility chart before ordering. For non-Raymarine chartplotters, the CAM330's IP camera output is standard ONVIF-compliant video so it can typically display on any IP-compatible video display, but the Axiom-specific multi-camera switching and ClearCruise AR features only work with the Axiom platform.
How many cameras can I run?
View up to 4 CAM330 video streams simultaneously on a single Axiom display. Common multi-camera setups: cockpit + engine room + swim platform + foredeck = 4 cameras showing on the Axiom in a 4-pane layout. Beyond 4 cameras, you can install additional cameras on the network and switch between groups of 4 in the Axiom's video menu, but only 4 display simultaneously per Axiom unit.
Does it really have night vision?
Yes. Built-in infrared emitters around the lens illuminate the scene with IR light invisible to the human eye. The camera's CMOS sensor sees the IR illumination and renders the scene in monochrome night-vision view. Effective range up to 33 feet (10 meters). For night-time engine room monitoring, dock-side security after hours, and any low-light observation use case, the IR night vision is meaningfully more useful than a daylight-only camera.
What's the field of view?
160-degree horizontal x 130-degree vertical.
How do I power it?
Two options. Direct 12V connection runs from a switched 12V circuit on the boat to the camera's power input - simple wiring, low electrical complexity. Power over Ethernet (PoE) runs both power and data over the same single Ethernet cable from a PoE switch or injector - simpler cable routing for multi-camera setups. PoE is the cleaner install for boats with several cameras where running multiple separate power and data cables would be impractical.
How do I mount it?
The camera ball mounts in any orientation (ball-up, ball-down, sideways) thanks to the rotating ball housing and image flip / invert functions. Use the supplied mounting hardware to install the housing on a flat surface (ceiling, bulkhead, overhead, etc.). Loosen the housing lock, rotate the ball to aim the lens at the area you want to monitor, tighten the lock. Run the cable through the supplied extension cable to the network switch and power source.
What's ClearCruise AR?
ClearCruise Augmented Reality is a Raymarine feature that overlays AIS targets, waypoints, chart objects, and other navigation data directly onto the live camera video on the Axiom display. Combined with the optional AR200 augmented reality sensor (sold separately), you get a heads-up-display view of the world around the boat with chart objects visible in their real-world positions. For low-visibility navigation or for night-time navigation in busy waters, the AR overlay is a meaningful safety upgrade.
Is it really IP66 waterproof?
Yes. IP66 protects against dust ingress (dust-tight) and against powerful water jets from any direction (high-pressure water won't enter in harmful quantities). For both below-deck installations (engine room, head, cabin) and above-deck installations (cockpit, foredeck, hardtop), the IP66 rating is the right rating for the marine environment. Salt spray, rain, dock-side wash-down all handled.
Does it record video or just display live?
The CAM330 is a live IP camera - it streams video over the Ethernet network. Recording happens on the receiving end. The Raymarine Axiom chartplotter doesn't natively record IP camera streams to internal storage. For recording, add an IP camera NVR (Network Video Recorder) on the boat's network or use a separate ONVIF-compliant recording solution. The camera itself just streams the live video. the recording function is downstream.
What about audio?
No microphone. The CAM330 is a video-only camera. For onboard intercom or audio monitoring, that's a separate audio system - the CAM330 doesn't replace it.
What's in the box?
The CAM330 camera unit, mounting hardware kit, extension cable for cabling flexibility, and the install instruction sheet. Required separately: the Raymarine Axiom chartplotter to display the video, RayNet (Raymarine Ethernet) cable from the Axiom or network switch to the camera, 12V power wiring (if not using PoE), and PoE switch / injector (if using PoE).
What's the warranty?
2-year limited Raymarine warranty. Service runs through the Raymarine authorized service network in the U.S.
